We’re really almost there! This will be the last of the monthly posts before the wedding.

We’ve been engaged now for over a year and have 1 month until the big day. We’re making plans for Tim’s big move down to Nashville now and working on the details of the wedding. By the end of this upcoming weekend we’ll have almost everything done or ordered. We have meetings with the reception hall coordinator, the priest, the photographer, and our marriage counseling couple. We’ll also order programs, get our marriage license, and pick out the details for the guestbook and table numbers.

Reminder: If you are planning on staying at the hotel the night of the wedding or at all that weekend, reservations need to be made by July 19th in order to lock in our wedding rate (see the travel info page).

Also: Please RSVP by July 18th either via the response card or online.

Something to look forward to: we appreciate everyone who has kept up with our progress over the past year. After the wedding our site will see a change in which you will be able to keep up with our life together. The wedding site will be only a part of our life together.

Hello to all the newcomers to our website and welcome back to those who have been here before. We recently sent all our invitations out, so we expect some new people to find out about our little space. Also this site was recently mentioned in a Columbus Dispatch article so I’m sure that has brought a few wandering eyes. If you don’t live in the Columbus area and are interested, you can check out the article at this link, or see a scan of it here.

A few quick things to mention. If you would like to be alerted to when we update our website you can subscribe your e-mail to the website over on the right side of the main page. Another thing you can do is send in your RSVP. Just click the RSVP tab at the top and fill in the fields. Just 50 days and counting!

Invitations are printed and in! So now it’s off to work on those. Coming up I have a second dress fitting. We have just moved me into our new place and I’m looking forward to decorating and making it our home.

I’m trying to pick the music and get details together… any suggestions?

For as much as it seems that we have forever until the wedding… time is really flying by!

We have a honeymoon spot! We’re going to spend 10 days in St. Lucia. 6 nights on the South side at Stonefield and 3 nights at Sandals on the North side. The three weeks that I have off from school that will entail the pre-wedding, wedding, and post wedding festivities will be very busy so it’ll be nice to get this break and time together!

We went for our cake tasting, reception dinner tasting, and got our engagement pictures all on Friday! The cake was yummy! The dinner was very good! And, anyone who wants pictures from our engagement pictures let us know and we’ll print them out or send them to you digitally so you can print them or have them on your computer!

5 months and now it’s time for the fun stuff!

Well with tomorrow being 5 months we’re well on our way and all the stuff left to do is the fun stuff like our food tasting, cake tasting, picking centerpieces, and finalizing honeymoon plans.

I’m finishing up my spring break in Ohio during the blizzard while Tim is working and gearing up for spring sports ( aka March madness and lots of Baseball).

On my spring break we’ve gotten a lot done. I had my first dress fitting, we went and picked out tuxes, we worked on details with the reception hall, centerpieces are being narrowed down, we picked out invitations, and looked at honeymoon options.

We’re trying to narrow down the honeymoon and are pretty sure that we’ll spend about 8-10 days in St. Lucia and split our visit between the North end and South end of the island.

We’ve also found an apartment that we really like and hopefully will be moving me into soon and getting things set up a bit before Tim moves in after the wedding.

We’ll have our engagement announcement in the paper soon and will send the picture to people who would like one after we meet with our photographer again at the end of March.
